Importance of Traineeships during Management Education


When Harsh Sanghvi, the student of Business (HR), from WLCI College in Mumbai was placed as trainee with Larsen and Turbo stated that I was overjoyed when “I was under traing with Larsen and Turbo. I was balancing my studies with the training although I have to travel a long distance. The traineeship was paid by the college and it has given me the hands on experience and has also paid the stipend to me.”

As Harsh Sanghvi, M Kandaraman, P. Vanitha and S. Lunawath from Chennai was also delighted to have been selected by Coca Cola to be the management trainees. Similarly elated are four students from WLCI Bangalore, Archana Kaur, Razena, Sathya M. and Pradeep M. who are currently training with Franklin Templeton. C.R Nandhini of WLC Chennai is very proud to be under the training at one of the most reputed firm R.R Donnelli. Girish Yadav of WLC Mumbai is proud to be the part of training under Raymonds, Mumbai.

Sahid Qasir and Parimal of Delhi were in the training with Hindustan Times. Almost all the students are earning the stipend between 8000 to 13000 and it depends entirely on the nature of work and company. All of them unanimously agrees that the chance given to these students with the ‘real learning’ during the management traineeship period are invaluable. Kudos to Corporate Services Department for acquiring these traineeships.

The current research associate Abhinash Kashyap in Capital IQ stated, I gained lots of experience through my traineeship and I am now placed in good company with great job”. Almost all the students of 2010 batch says that ‘Cutting Edge Training’ improves the Communication Skills and they are happy to choose WLC College as the stepping stone to success.
